Dr. Tadros is truly a gem, caring and wonderful. We have several cats and have been to several different vets before coming to Dr. Tadros. What you immediately notice is that he truly cares about the well being of your pet as well as you. Some other doctors have very little bedside manner, or only care about running "test" that you don't really need. Dr. Tadros and staff take the time to talk to you and your pet to see what is truly going on. He answers all our questions (even when we ask stupid questions). And one of the nicest thing is that he wants to know how the treatment went, he doesn't ask you to schedule a followup (unless it is necessary), but he truly likes it if you drop him a line to tell him know how well the treatment went, and how happy your little pet friend is now.

Absolutely wonderful! Dr. Tadros and staff treated my baby with lots of love and professionalism. Dr. Tadros even caught an ailment that my cat's old vet had found, but didn't tell me about. The office is clean, bright, quiet, everything to keep an anxious pet calm. Very caring people, just a really great vet experience!

Dr. Tadros and his staff are simply amazing and I LOVE THEM. My dog was recently acting "off" and I brought her in thinking it was something minor (maybe gastritis or whatever). Unfortunately I was very wrong; Dr Tadros diagnosed her immediately with pyrometra, a very serious infection, which had spread to her blood. She needed emergency surgery STAT and once she survived that, the infection was still going to be a challenge :'(.  Well Dr. T. did the surgery, answered all of my questions (honestly and patiently), and treated my dog with such care and compassion that I get teary when I reply those first scary days back in my head. They were WONDERFUL, and as Sophie gets better, I've had TONS of questions/concerns -- including a 1am call on Sunday night   which was answered by the amazing Vet Tech.  I felt so bad waking him up but he couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. We've been back every few days to check in during her recovery, and she is *delighted* when we go to Dr. T's, you can tell she really loves them :D   Dr. T gave me superb instructions to care for her during this time, any concerns I've had were quickly addressed, and Sophie is doing GREAT tonight. They quite literally saved her life and I am so profoundly impressed by the entire practice, I recommend them without reservation as the vet of choice in Astoria to take care of your furry friends. ***** .
